Languages:

Linguistik online is an international European journal and will therefore publish articles in all European languages. However, potential authors should take the following facts into consideration:

• two of the co-editors must be able to read the language in question
• special characters or Cyrillic often require new configurations on the side of the users in order to be readable
• the percentage of the audience able to read the article depends, of course, very much on the language used

For this reason, Linguistik online recommends its authors in general to restrict themselves to English, French, German, and Spanish.

Linguistik online was dounded at the Faculty for Cultural Sciences at the European University "Viadrina". The library of this faculty keeps one paper copy of the first 10 issues by way of an additional back up. A complete paper copy is being kept in the library of the Philosophical-histrical Faculty at the Univerity of Berne (Switzerland), where the journal and its editor are based since the year 2000.

Upcoming subjects:

Since it has turned out that most contributions are submitted for the "Miscellaneous" issues, they now form the standard issue of this journal. However, suggestions for special issues are always welcome!
